Lillian E. Rogers, age 90, of Dighton, formerly of Fall River, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on February 29, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Everett Rogers. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Lillian (Potts) Horan. Prior to retirement she worked as a group leader for Raytheon for many years.
Lillian leaves behind her children Everett R. Rogers (wife Deborah) of Dighton, Ruthanne Higgins (deceased husband David) of FL and Joanne Saunders (husband Peter) of FL; grandchildren Carey Dufor (husband Tom), Scott Higgins (wife Jessica), Jessica E. Rogers (fiancé Charles Robison) and Michael Rogers (fiancé Jennifer Moore) and great-grandchildren Gavin, Destinee & Sarah Higgins, Tayla & Tessa Rogers. She was predeceased by her siblings James Horan Jr. and Ruth Ellen Murphy.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Friday with extended calling hours from 9-10:30 A.M. followed by a Funeral Service at Church Of Our Savior, Somerset at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
