Devoted father of Linda Ahern-Roth and her husband Chip of Bedford, Jim Ahern and his wife Natalie of Hingham, Danny Ahern and his wife Chris of Cohasset, Toby Ahern and his wife Marion of Andover. Cherished grandfather of Patrick & Jillian Ahern, Emily Roth, Katie, Rory, Molly, Madison and Grace Ahern. Dear brother of Robert P. Ahern and his wife Lyn of Brandon, VT, and the late Marie Bowe. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held in the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home, 210 Winthrop St,. WINTHROP, on Friday, March 4th, at 10:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will follow in Winthrop Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8pm.
