Obituary

Stefanoni, Carol Ann (Tedesco) , 58 of Easton, formerly of Canton, passed away February 28, 2016, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Cambridge to the late Frederick D. Tedesco and Catherine (Callinan) MacNevin. She was a graduate of Northeastern University School of Nursing. Carol has dedicated her life to her two greatest loves, her children and Nursing. She was a Cardiac ICU Nurse at Boston’s Children’s Hospital on 8-South since 1990. Her devotion to her patients and their families was unmatched. Nursing wasn’t just a career for Carol, it was a central part of who she was. Carol always became deeply invested in each and every child and patient she would care for, an extended family in her heart. That level of investment, dedication, and love spread to her co-workers as well, whom she considered to be a second family. Carol was and remains to be an inspiration as a nurse, mother, and friend.
She leaves behind her three adoring daughters, Talia, Rianna, and Brielle Stefanoni, in the loving care of their father Edward Stefanoni and her family. She also leaves behind her sisters Lisa and her husband Jim Collins, of Stoughton, and Nancy and her husband Steve Prisco, of Bridgewater, and her brothers, Paul and Frederick Tedesco, of Taunton, and Michael and his wife, Honglin and brother Thomas Tedesco, of California. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, Allyson and Amanda Collins, Alex, Natalie, and Jake Prisco, and Nikolaus Tedesco.
