Pauline E. Lord, 76 of Derry, NH died Monday February 29, 2016 at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry. Pauline was born in Manchester, NH on January 31, 1940 a daughter of the late Joseph and Laurianna (Labrie) Goudreau. She had resided in Derry since 1958. Pauline worked for Derry Shoe and Evangeline Shoe Companies, Treasure Masters, and was a Matron for the Derry School System for eight years. She also worked for Information Services in Derry and Manchester. She enjoyed traveling in their motorhome, trips to Branson, MO, crocheting, knitting, and playing Bingo and building puzzles. She also enjoyed managing the family band of musicians.
She is survived by three sons, Paul E. Lord, Jr. and his wife Karen of Derry, Robert Lord of Nashua, NH, and Donald Lord and his wife Kathy of Alton, NH, one daughter, Elaine Russell and her husband Mark of Derry, 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three brothers, Robert Goudreau and his wife Cecile, and Eddie Goudreau and his wife Brenda, all of Florida, Rene Goudreau of Manchester, one sister, Lorraine Dione of Merrimack, NH, also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul E. Lord in 2011, her siblings, Raymond, Alfred and Maurice Goudreau and by her sister, Lillian Desbiens.
Calling hours were held on Wednesday March 2, 2016 from 4 – 7pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday at 10:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry. Burial followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry.
