ANDROMARKEE "MARKEE" (COSTAS) ARGOS, a homemaker, of Hull, died on Thursday, June 23rd at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was 87. Born in Boston, Mrs. Argos was a lifelong resident of Hull. She loved gardening and was an accomplished pianist.
Wife of the late Basil G. Argos, she was the beloved mother of Maria A. Barber and her husband James of Norwell. Devoted grandmother of Christina Barber and her husband Michael McCarthy; and Andrea Barber and her fiance Stephen Salzillo. Aunt of Charles Costas and his wife Sharon. She was the sister of the late Esther Pappageorge and the late George W. Costas.
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday, June 28th at 11 AM at the Panagia Greek Orthodox Church, 811 Jerusalem Rd., Cohasset, MA 02025.
Friends may visit at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham on Monday from 5-8 PM. A prayer service will be conducted at the Downing Chapel by Rev. John Maheras on Monday evening at 7:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Building Fund of the Panagia Greek Orthodox Church or to Curt's Pitch for ALS - The ALS Association, 27001 Agoura Rd., Suite 150, Calabasas Hills, CA 91301.
Interment will be in the Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
