Gary W. Fontaine 59, died February 26, 2016 at Philip Hulitar Center. He was the husband of Cathy (Champagne) Fontaine. Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of Janine (Vincelette) Fontaine of Woonsocket, and the late Gilbert Fontaine. Gary was the store manager of CVS Pharmacy in Pascoag for over five years. Prior to CVS he was a Region Area Coach for Pizza Hut where he worked for nineteen years. Gary loved to go on vacation. He enjoyed golfing and watching sports.
Besides his wife and mother, he leaves two daughters Shauna L. Arpin and her husband Ronald N. of North Smithfield, and Stacey Lynne Fontaine of VT, a step-daughter Amanda Albanese of Woonsocket, a brother Jeffrey Fontaine of Blackstone, a sister Nancy Fontaine of North Smithfield, and two grandchildren, Ronald N. Arpin IV and Madeline E. Arpin.
Visiting Hours will be held Thursday 5-8 PM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10:00 AM in St. Agatha’s Church, Joffre St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham.
