Florence H. Caron 91, of Willow St. died February 24, 2016 at The Friendly Home. She was the wife of the late Charles Caron. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Maria (St. Germain) Belhumeur. Florence worked in several area mills and also worked at the Hamlet Diner and Embassy Club Restaurant. Florence was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan.
She is survived by her son Raymond Caron and his wife Jeanne of Woonsocket, and a daughter Cecile Charlebois and her husband Oliver “Tom” Charlebois of N. Attleboro, three grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Leo and Raymond Belhumeur and Yvette Lemoine.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. The family will begin receiving guests in the church at 10:00AM. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland.
