Obituary

Christopher “Chris” B. O’Neil, age 44, of Franklin and York, Maine, formerly of Arlington died suddenly February 25. He was the husband of Molly M. (Campbell) O’Neil.
Born in Somerville, February 18, 1972, the son of Martha A. (Hadley) O’Neil of Arlington and the late Bernard F. O’Neil, Mr. O’Neil was raised in Arlington and had lived in Franklin for many years.
He was a 1994 graduate of Stonehill College and also received a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
Chris was a proud member of the 75th RTT, Massachusetts State Police.
He had been a Franklin youth hockey coach and enjoyed his times in York, Maine.
Chris was an active and adoring father who was loved by all.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his children, Conor J. and Charlotte E. O’Neil of Franklin.
He is also survived by his brother Jonathan E. O’Neil and his wife Michelle A. O’Neil of Woburn, and his nephews, Jake and Max O’Neil.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, March 3 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church at 10:00.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 3-7 p.m.
