Stinson, Homer, 86, passed away February 25, 2016 in Louisville.
He was born to Russell and Vera (Lucas) Stinson.
Homer was a member of Lighthouse of Prayer Church, a Truck Driver for Smith Transfer where he retired in 1988, and a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served in the Korean War.
Homer is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, and three sisters.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 64 yrs., Shirley (Cain); his children: Rex W. Stinson, Sherre McFall, and Valerie Spencer (Ronnie); 10 grandchildren: Salena, Jayme, Greg, Angela, Daniel, Blair, Ronda, Missy, Rex, Jr., Crystal, and Macie; eight great-grand children: Jordan, Dylan, Cody, Gracie, Casen, Autumn, Liam, Crystal, Wynonna and Billie J; many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 12:00PM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. Entombment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, with visitation Tuesday from 12:00-8:00PM
