Wife of the late Henry V. McKenney and William F. Joyce. Beloved mother of Priscilla J. and her husband Robert Abate of Kingston, William F. Joyce, Jr. and his wife Carol of Middleboro, and Marylou Joyce of Plymouth. Sister of the late Paul F. Murphy. Loving grandmother of Robert W. Abate, Susan P. Wilson and her husband Richard, Mark F. and his wife Ellen Abate, Scott F. and his wife Deirdre Abate, Stephen W. Joyce, Christine C. Joyce, David P. and his wife Adriana Iacobucci, Brian A. and his wife Suzanne Iacobucci, and Christopher A. and his wife Jennifer Abate. Also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, a step-son, John McKenney and his wife Barbara, their two children, and many nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Saturday at 11:00 AM.

Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

Mrs. McKenney was an Office Worker in the Credit Dept for Jordan Marsh in Braintree, prior to that she worked in Sales for Remick's in Quincy for 10 years. Dorothy was a historian of the Adams Family and her particular favorite was Abigail Adams. She was a tour guide at the Dorothy Quincy House for 5 years and also gave lectures about the Adams Family at her church. Dorothy was a Deacon at Old South Union Church. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren the most important part of her life.
