Kenneth E. Hastings

Kenneth E. Hastings, 71, of Anderson, died February 24, 2016 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
He was born on December 16, 1944 in Long Prairie, Minnesota, the son of William and Mary Alice (Sharnowski) Hastings. He served in the United States Army and was employed by Fisher Guide /General Motors. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children: Andrea (James) Haskett of Markleville, Christina (Mitchell) Lakes of Anderson, and Jeff Hastings of Middletown. 5 grandchildren: Cameron Hastings, Joshua Haskett, Loren Boyd, Kaitlin Boyd, and Jacob Hastings, and a great grandchild, Jayce Chason. Siblings: Paul Hastings of Pendleton, Mary (Tom) Miner of Anderson, and Bob (Linda) Hastings of Alexandria and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by several "Grand dogs."
He was preceded in death by his father, William Hastings, his mother, Mary Alice Irwin, and his brother, David Hastings.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 3PM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
