Beloved wife of the late Walter E. “Bud” Greene Jr. Devoted mother of Elizabeth Hulbert and her husband George of Roslindale, Walter Greene and his wife Mary of Medfield, Mary MacEachern and her husband Mark of Attleboro, Robert Greene of Roslindale, Timothy Greene and his wife Christine of Mashpee, Stephen Greene and his wife Julia of Milton, and Patricia Goodale and her husband Michael of Carver. Loving grandmother of Laurie Ellis, Daniel Hulbert, Katherine Greene, and Bridget Greene. Great-grandmother of Nathan Ellis.
Sister of Annette Hickey Ward of Bellingham and Joanne Hemmer of Dedham and the late Richard Doyle Jr., and Patricia O’Brien. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Graduate of Boston City Hospital School of Nursing. Late nurse for Boston City Hospital and VNA. Former den mother for Cub Scouts, Pack 7, Roslindale.
Funeral from the P.E. Murray-F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, Monday, Feb. 29th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Roslindale at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours at the funeral home, Sunday Feb. 28th from 2-6pm. Interment in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
