Harvey P. Creeden, 75, of Chester, NH, passed away on February 24, 2016 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. He was born on August 19, 1940 in Newburyport, MA, a son of the late James and Jeanne (Gendron) Creeden. Harvey was a US Navy Veteran having served during the Vietnam Era and he retired from Frank Delucia Construction Company. Harvey enjoyed Astronomy, Photography, Car Racing and spending time with his family.
Surviving family include his wife of 45 years, Leah (Stevenson) Creeden; two sons, Gavin Creeden and his fiancé Michelle and Garrick Creeden and his wife, Christine. He is also survived by one brother, Thomas P. Creeden and his wife, Linda, two sisters, Anne Marie Murphy and her husband, Terrence, and Rosemary Stanley and her husband, Lee as well as one grandson, Trevor and several nieces and one nephew.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a son, Ian Creeden.
Following cremation a calling hour will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home.
