Bruce M. Couture, 62, a resident of Lawrence, died on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Methuen on May 14, 1953 to Florian and Daisy (Campton) Couture. Educated in the Bruce Grammar School and a graduate of Greater Lawrence Vocational Technical School in Andover. He started his career as a Carpenter for Craig Systems in Lawrence and later worked for many years at Adtech in Lawrence. He loved to watch football games, go camping, and play darts which he played on various dart teams throughout the Merrimack Valley, he was also a member at the Rocky Club in Lawrence.
He leaves his loving wife Kathy A. (Sheridan) Couture, and is survived by his children, a son: Matthew and his wife MayCee Couture of Chelsea, MA and his daughter: Kristen and her husband Christopher Jones of Methuen, MA. One grandson: Evan Jones, and two brothers Wayne F. Couture and his wife Kelly of Methuen, and Scott and his wife Jennifer Couture of Merrimack, NH, as well as several nieces and nephews. Bruce will be sadly missed by his family & friends, he was a very friendly, gentle and kind to all people he met throughout his life.
Family and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass which will take place on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 10:00AM in St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Lawrence, MA. A burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
