de la Garza, Kathleen Marie (Burke), of Quincy, passed away peacefully Feb. 22. Born and raised in Boston, Ms. de la Garza was a former Flight Attendant for American Airlines and a graduate of Aquinas College in Milton. A long time Quincy resident she previously lived in East Milton for many years. Kathleen was a highly energetic woman whose passions included traveling, working out, and floral design; but, her favorite pastime was spoiling her only granddaughter, Danica. Devoted mother of Bianca de la Garza of Boston. Cherished grandmother of Danica Wade. Kathleen was also a former volunteer at the Pine St. Inn in Boston. Beloved daughter of the late Raymond “Buddy” Roche and Mary (Daly). Dear sister of Kevin Roche of Weymouth and Mary Burke of Quincy and the late Eileen Burke. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Thursday 4 to 8 PM. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home, Friday afternoon at 1:30. Burial private.
