Hess, Nancy J. (Dunavan), 71, passed away February 22, 2016 in Louisville.
She was born to Orville and Chloe Louise “Honey” Dunavan.
She is retired from Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Marketing, and a Catholic by faith.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and three sisters.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 38 yrs., Charles “Bobby” Hess; her children: Karen Hess; Karen’s children: Nathan, and Sean Robert Hess; Tracy Ploetner (David); their children: James David, and Mark Anthony Skaggs; Angela Krieger; Angela’s children: Corey Andrew, and Megan Ann Krieger; Six grandchildren; her sister, Tricia DeGeorge, and her children: Toni Hunt, Jim (Teri), Joe (Beth), and Jock DeGeorge; one brother-in-law, Herman Hess (Phyllis), and two Sister-in-laws: Sherry Rogalinski (Fred), and Dolly Graf (Dave); and many nieces and nephews that were dearly loved by Nancy.
Funeral Services will be Friday at 1:00PM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy., with cremation to follow. Visitation is Thursday 1:00-8:00PM.
