Lorette R. (Auger) Lemieux 98, formerly of Hemond Ave. died Sunday at The Holiday. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Lemieux. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Alphonsine (Levesque) Auger. Mrs. Lemieux was a sales clerk for Mammoth Mart for many years before retiring in 1981. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Senior Citizens. Lorette was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed having company and had a deep abiding love of chocolate.
She is survived by a son; Ronald Lemieux of Woonsocket, a daughter; Rachel Lemieux of Woonsocket, four grandchildren; Cheryl, Shane, Steven, and Shannon, and three great-grandchildren, Timmy, Leila, and Oliver. She was predeceased by her siblings Robert, Wilfred, and Normand Auger, her twin Juliette Duguay, Germaine Ethier, and Beatrice Dufresne.
Her funeral will be held Thursday with visitation from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland.
