Ann M. Cota, 105, of Old Pocasset Lane, Johnston, died Saturday in the Pocasset Manor, Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late George G. Cota. They had been married for 62 years.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Bartholomew and Annie (Murphy) Driscoll. She had lived in Johnston previously living in Providence. She had been a Telephone Operator with New England Telephone before retiring. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church and a member of the St. Ann’s Sodality.
She leaves many cousins. She was the sister of the late Joseph Driscoll and Helen Driscoll.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Greenville Common, Greenville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, Johnston. Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Respectfully Omitted.
