Frank E. Hart
January 31, 1938- February 20, 2016
Frank E. Hart, 78, of Anderson, went to be with the Lord, on February 20, 2016 at Community Hospital in Anderson after a long illness.
Frank was born on January 31, 1938 in Anderson, the son of Howard E. Hart Sr. and Grace D. "Tommy" Remington Hart. He resided in Anderson and Lauderdale County Mississippi where he worked as a tool and die maker and supervisor/ plant engineer for GM and several tool shops in both locations.
Frank was a dedicated outdoorsman, who was known for his hunting and fishing trips to Alaska, Canada, and the Western United States. Frank was a member of First Baptist Church of Lauderdale, Mississippi.
He is survived by his son and family, David E. (Patty) Hart; 2 grandchildren Meghan and Mandy; his son, Kevin Hart; 2 daughters, Lexi Weedman and Lora Mullins; brothers, Howard "Ed" Hart, William "Will" (Vickie) Hart, Thomas "Tom" (Patricia) Hart, Nick (Cindy) Hart, and his sisters, Minnie "Sis" (Ricky) Graham and Candice "Candy" (Rudy) Ballard; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Grace Hart; and his brother, Larry Hart.
The family extends special gratitude to Nick and Cindy Hart for caring for Frank during his illness.
Services will be on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at 2:00pm with Pastor Brad Storm officiating. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery. Masonic Rites will be conducted at 1:45 pm.
Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00pm at the funeral home on Thursday.
