Lucille Yvonne (Grenier) Albert, 80 of Salem, wife of the late Joseph E. Roger Albert, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016 with her family by her side at the Hunt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Danvers.
Lucille was born in Salem, daughter of the late Ronaldo and Eva (Gauthier) Grenier. She was raised and educated in Salem, and was a lifelong resident of the city.
Lucille was a stay at home mother who devoted her life to creating a home for her family. Later in life she enjoyed spending countless hours with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As hobies, she was an avid bingo player and loved to shop.
Lucille is survived by her children and their spouses, Donald and Julie Albert of Texas, Roger and Ellen Albert and Estelle Jenkins all of Beverly, Michael Albert , Judy and Bernie Szczechowicz, and Liana Buttner all of Salem, and Jeanie and John McCormick of California, as well as 14 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and her siblings, Sister Estelle Grenier, SASV, Ronald, Peter, Eddie and George Grenier and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Raymond Grenier.
As per her request, private services will be held.
