Obituary

WORCESTER—Mr. Louis J. DeMarco, 88, passed away at his home with his family by his side.

Lou was born on October 18, 1927 in Worcester, Massachusetts a son of the late Michael and Sarah (Cheetm) DeMarco. Loving husband of fifty years to the late Barbara (Wilson) DeMarco.

A lifelong resident, Lou was educated through the Worcester schools. He served his country in the Navy during World War II and returned to Worcester.

He worked at Memorial Hospital for over twenty years in the custodial department and most recently up until his retirement was a cab driver for yellow cab.

Lou was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer where he played as a member at Greenhill Golf course through his retirement. The greatest joys in his life was spending time with his family and getting together for the family reunions.

He is survived by his two sons, David DeMarco and his wife Sandy, Louis DeMarco Jr. and his wife Joanne, two daughters, Sue Angelini and her husband Pete, Deb Day and her husband Jim; he also leave 16 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.

Lou was also predeceased by his two daughters, Robin Simonelli, and Patty DeMarco and four grandchildren.

Calling hours will be on Sunday, February 21 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch St, Worcester. A prayer service will begin at 3:00pm in the Funeral Home.
