Martinez, GA – Entered into rest Thursday, February 18, 2016, Marie Shaffer, 45, loving wife of Jeff Shaffer.
Marie was employed with Kangaroo Express for 10 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and Nana. Marie always had a smile on her face and never met a stranger. Marie loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Family members in addition to her husband: Jeff Shaffer, include children: Chadwick Hatcher and Misty Staten and husband Bruce; grandchildren: Ivy, Myah, and Bruce Jr. Staten, Annabelle and Eden MacLean, Dreyden and Malia Hatcher and Grayson Lee; stepchildren: Gabrielle Shaffer, Jeffrey and Raymond Lee; parents: James Sr. and Virginia Harris; brothers: James Harris, Jr. and wife Melissa, Ronald Rowland and wife Karen and Carl Rowland; sister: Connie Rowland; and numerous other family members and close friends that survive her.
A memorial service will be Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Oscar Whiteside officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
