Obituary

George S. Brady, 86, of Burlington, MA (originally of Everett, MA) passed away suddenly on February 17, 2016.

He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean War and later earned his degree in electrical engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology. He worked at the Cambridge Electron Accelerator until the project was decommissioned.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia (Gavin) Brady, and their children Michael and wife Karen of Tyngsboro, MA, Mark and wife Robin of Laconia, NH, and Kathleen Porzelt and husband Mark of Brockton, MA. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Katie, Dan, Elizabeth, Kurt, Brian, Kevin, Brooke, and Zander; his great-grandchildren Alexis, Willow, and Abigail; and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at the American Legion in Burlington on March 12th from 12-4 pm.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on April 22nd at 1:00 pm. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend both. Donations may be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation (http://www.pcf.org/) if preferred in lieu of flowers.
