Priscilla Dunn, longtime resident of Weymouth, passed away on February 18, 2016 at Sunrise of Braintree. She was 92 years of age. Priscilla was one of the first Navy WAVEs, entering service when she was just 20. She was very proud of her position as Yeoman First Class during WWII and cherished her memories of her service. Priscilla worked as the Secretary to the Superintendent of Weymouth Public Schools for over 40 years. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Cecil Dunn, and her siblings, William Jr., George and Barbara. She will be sadly missed.
A graveside service will be held at the Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree on Monday, February 22nd from the C.C. Shepherd Funeral Home,134 Pleasant St. (Golumbian Sq.) S. Weymouth at 12:30 p.m. Donations in Priscilla’s memory may be made to the Weymouth Education Foundation, PO Box 389, Weymouth, MA 02190, or to an organization of your choosing.
