Lynn A. Kirby, 58, of North Oxford, died Friday, February 19th in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her husband of 24 years, Paul E. Kirby, Jr.; two daughters, Emily E. Kirby and Colleen E. Kirby all of North Oxford; her siblings, Patricia Johnson-Giles and her husband, James of Ithaca, NY, Mary-Ellen Chute and her husband, Paul M. of West Hartford, CT, Beth Thulin and her husband, Richard of Millbury, Harold Johnson of Worcester, Ann M. Leary and her husband, Kevin of Worcester and William Johnson and his wife, Laurie of Auburn; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Harold and Helen (McGinn) Johnson and graduated from Notre Dame Academy and Trinity Washington University. Lynn worked for Watson-Wyatt Worldwide for 23 years as a benefits consultant, retiring in 2007. She enjoyed spending time at her summer home in Maine, listening to music, dancing, travelling but most of all she cherished the time she spent with her loved ones.
Her funeral is Monday, February 22nd with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn. Calling hours are Sunday, February 21st from 3:00 until 6:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester.
