Mr. Solomon Dessalegne, a resident of Medford and cherished husband of Mui Nim, passed away in Cambridge on Thursday morning, February 18, 2016. He was 60 years old.
Born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on November 20, 1955, he was the beloved son of the late Dessalegne Abebe and Abebech Gebere. Solomon was an electronics expert who worked as a supervisor and could fix anything when it to came to electronics and computers. He was formerly a flight mechanic. He will be dearly missed.
Besides his beloved wife, Mui, he is survived by his loving son; Daniel D. Solomon of Medford; his step-children Victor Ma of Amsterdam, Netherlands and Kathleen Ma of New York, NY; his sisters Aynalem, Misrak, Meskerem, and Hirut; his brother Elias; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016, from 4-8 PM. Interment will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
