Fairhaven – Agripina (Gago) Rebelo, 78, of New Bedford passed away February 17, 2016 at Alden Court Nursing & Rehab Center.
Mrs. Rebelo was born in Aquadilla, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Segundo and Providencia (Valentine) Gago, and resided in New Bedford most of her life. She was a communicant of the former St. Kilian Church. She was employed as a stitcher by Grinnell Pajamas until her retirement. She was a former catechism teacher at the Regina Pacis Center and a member of the Madres Christians.
Survivors include her son: Joseph P. Rebelo II; her daughter: Anna M. Rebelo; her granddaughter: Ariel S. Mitchell (Rebelo); a sister: Sara Sagar; and several nieces & nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend:
Visiting hours on Sunday, February 21, 2016, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford.
Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Monday, February 22, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family c/o the funeral home.
