Lillian M. Auger 90, formerly of Old Louisquisset Pike, North Smithfield died February 16, 2016 at The Holiday Retirement Home. She was the wife of the late Royal W. Auger. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Victoria (Chaput) Lachance. Lillian worked as an assembler for AT Cross for over eighteen years until her retirement. She is survived by a sister Muriel Moretti of Bellingham, her caregiver Christine Purkis and her husband Arthur and their children Amanda and Mark all of Harrisville. She was predeceased by her son Lucien Auger, and siblings, Fernand, Gerard, Roland, Raymond, Marcel, Roger and Robert Lachance, Lucille Picard, Theresa Lacroix, and Georgette Morvan.
Her funeral will be held Monday, February 22, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in Resurrection Cemetery in Cumberland. Visiting Hours are Sunday 2-4 p.m.
