Nina Marie (Bono) Rexrode of Medford died on Wednesday, February 17. Born in Boston's North End, she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Josephine (Catanzaro) Bono. Nina was a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph, and later worked as a teacher's assistant at a daycare center.
She was the beloved wife of Roger Rexrode, and the devoted mother of Karen Hanna and her husband Geoff of Exeter, NH, Mark Rexrode and his wife Connie of Wakefield, Stacey Young and her husband Ryan of Leominster, Amy Quinn and her husband Patrick of Arlington, Douglas Rexrode and his wife Stacy of Tewksbury. Nina was the loving grandmother of Casey, Jack, Christian, Laura, Andrew, Brian, Lily, Colby, and Baby Nina, and the cherished sister of Vita Bugden and her husband Thomas of Medford, Anthony Bono and his wife Diane of Milford. She is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, on Saturday, February 20, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, from 9 through 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
