ST. JOHN, Sr. Mary Xavier (Dorothy St. John) Passed away on February 15, 2016. She was a Poor Clare Nun for 62 years. Daughter of the late Grace and Walter St. John. Sister of the late Larry and Peter St. John. She is survived by her sister-in-law Irene St. John, her nephew Peter, nieces Christine and Susan, 2 grandnephews, and her Poor Clare Sisters in community.
Visiting hours will be held in the Monastery of St. Clare, 920 Centre St., Jamaica Plain, on Friday, Feb. 19 from 9-11am followed by a Funeral Mass beginning at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
