Megan Palmer, 44, died unexpectedly from an accident at home on February 12, 2016. She is survived by her children, Margaret and Palmer Connelly, her parents Mark Palmer and Deborah Palmer, her brother Mark and sister-in-law Germaine, former husband and friend Jeff Connelly, and Matt McCormack, her partner.
She was born in New London, CT, attended Mystic schools and graduated from St. Bernard’s High School in 1989. Megan was a licensed massage therapist and was employed at Mystic Indoor Sports as the General Manager.
She will be remembered for her beautiful spirit and for touching so many lives with her love and caring.
Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service at 11:00am on Saturday, February 20 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 15 Pearl Street, Mystic. The service will be followed by a celebration of Megan's life at 12:30pm at Mystic Indoor Sports, 90 Welles Road, Mystic. Interment of Megan's ashes will be held privately at St. Patrick's Cemetery, River Road, Mystic.
