Obituary

Paul F. Boyle age 77 of Brockton died peacefully Sunday February 14, 2016 at his home. He was the husband of the late Ruth A. (Hamilton) Boyle. Paul was born and raised in Cambridge a son of the late Patrick and Mary (Sullivan) Boyle and had lived in Brockton since 1968.
During the Vietnam Era, Paul served in the US Army. He was then a truck driver for many years working with Teamsters Local 25 in Charlestown and Local 653 in Brockton. Paul will be remembered as a hard working provider for his family. He was also a coach and avid supporter of his three sons sports teams when they were young.
In his free time, Paul enjoyed fishing, traveling and trips to Foxwoods.
Paul is survived by his three sons Paul F. Boyle, Jr. (Newton PD) of Plymouth; Michael P. Boyle (Boston FD) and his wife Julie of West Roxbury and Scott R. Boyle (Boston FD) and his wife Mary of Braintree, and daughter-in-law Janice Boyle of Plymouth. Paul was the grandfather of Padraic, Caoilinn, Kevin, Connor, Gregory, Sarah and Aidan Boyle and brother of Mary Normile of Cambridge, Joan Boyle of Stoneham, Patrick Boyle of Saugus, James Boyle of Arlington and the late Robert Boyle, Judy Eccles and Nancy Burke. He also leaves his dear friend Marilyn Eaves of Holbrook, and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (rte. 123) Brockton on Thursday 4-8 pm. The procession will gather at the funeral home on Friday at 9:30am for a funeral Mass in Christ the King Parish at 10:30am. Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery.
