Howard, David, 71, passed away February 12, 2016 in Louisville with his family by his side. He was born to Hargis and Viola (Baker) Howard on June 29,1944 in Austin, IN. David was a Forklift Driver for Ford Motor Co., where he retired in 1998. He was a member of Christian Assembly Church in Louisville. David is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, and two sisters. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Juanita (Harris) of 49 years; his children, Janice Cory (Ted), Jon Howard (Marly), and Reba Howard; five grandchildren, Sam, Molly, Max, Alex, and T.J.; one brother, Jesse Howard (Tami); three sisters, Jane Garret (Charlie), Christine Oathout, and Mary Dendekker (Jerry); a brother-in-law, Eugene Turpin (Charlotte), and many loving friends. Funeral services will be Monday at 12:00 Noon at Christian Assembly Church, 9020 Stonestreet Road, burial will be in Beth Haven Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday 2:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway also Monday at church from 10:00 a.m. til time of service.
