Jeanne M. (Fitzpatrick) Richardson, 85, formerly of Natick, passed from this life at Milford Regional Medical Center on February 9, 2016.
Born to James M. and Susan (Cassidy) Fitzpatrick on September 25, 1930. She was raised on Lovers Lane in Medway, surrounded by a large loving family. Jeanne was a graduate of Medway High class of 1948.
Jeanne was the dedicated wife of the late Charles Marshall Richardson for 48 years. She leaves her four children Pamela Acevedo and husband John of Florida, Judith Stiles of Natick, Charles Richardson Jr. and wife Irene of Marlborough, and Claire Casey and husband Michael of Medway. She also leaves 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, her sister Claire Hodges-Begale of New York, brother-in-law Daniel Keohane of Natick, and many nieces and nephews.
Jeanne centered her life around her family, was an active volunteer in scouting with her children. She shared the love of the ocean with her husband, spending summers boating, clamming and walking the beach in Humarock. Her joy in life, aside from family, was any facet of handwork, she was an accomplished quilter.
Jeanne spent her later years involved in activities sponsored by the Natick Senior Center, quilting, bowling, and thoroughly enjoyed her volunteer work at Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary in South Natick. As a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend she was a tender soul taking pride in her accomplishments.
Honoring her wishes, services will be private. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at St. Joseph Cemetery, Oakland St., Medway on Friday, February 19th at 12:00 Noon.
