Anne Rita (Martin) McGlynn, 75, of 5 Wyola Dr. died Wednesday (May15) in UMASS Memorial Medical Center-Belmont St. Campus after a short illness.
She leaves her husband of 54 years, James F. McGlynn, a son, Martin J. McGlynn of Worcester, four daughters, Anne Marie McGlynn, Mary E. Mastrorio-McGlynn, and Meighan R. Sharry all of Worcester, and Sara J. Favreau of Rutland, a sister, Mary A. Martin of Worcester, 11 grandchildren. A brother, Henry Martin and three sisters, Gertrude Martin, Margaret Boyer and Lillian Martin predeceased her. She was born in Worcester daughter of Michael and Anna (McDonald) Martin. She graduated from Commerce High School and Salter Secretarial School.
She worked for the Bank of New England for several years retiring in 1987.
She was a longtime member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.
A Funeral will be held Saturday (May18) from Fay Brothers Funeral Home (www.faybrothers.com) 9 Hammond St. with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church 1222 Main St. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Saint John's Cemetery. Calling Hours are Friday (May 17) from to 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of the Angels Church Building Fund 1222 Main St. 01603
