In Taunton, February 7, 2016 Lori A. (Medeiros) Sergio, Age 48, passed away at home unexpectedly. Lori was the wife of the late Matthew Sergio. She was born in Taunton, the daughter of Richard D. & Phyllis I. (Garon) Medeiros of Taunton. Lori had resided all her life in Taunton. She was educated in Taunton schools and a graduate of Taunton High School. She was a longtime employee for the Commonwealth of MA. Lori enjoyed going to the family home in Falmouth and especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Lori leaves her loving son Thomas Richard Sergio of Taunton. She also leaves her sister Patricia “Patti” Amaral and her husband Joseph of Taunton and her late brother Richard Scott Medeiros. Niece of Gordon Medeiros of Taunton, Linda Saxon of Taunton and the late Horace Medeiros and Theresa Flannery. also leaves many nieces and nephews. A funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma 02780 on Monday, February 15th at 11 am. Visiting hours will be prior to the service from 10-11am. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
