Steiger, Leilah B. (Homsy), age 94, of So. Chatham, peacefully, Feb. 10. Devoted mother of Petah D. Steiger of So. Chatham & Boston. Loving “Grammy Leilah” of Zachary & Jacob Lusek. Cherished sister of Yvonne M. Homsy & John A. Homsy, both of Boston and the late Dimitri Homsy & Jamileh diGuida. Also survived by 2 loving nieces. Visiting hours at St. John of Damascus Church, 300 West St., Dedham, (corner of Rtes. 135 & Rte. 128) Friday - 4 to 7 PM. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at the Church, Saturday morning at 9. For more than 40 years, Leilah was the dedicated President of a children’s charity which sponsored special needs & underprivileged children to summer camps & rehabilitation facilities.
