PARSONS, Mary Elizabeth, 84, of Louisville, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 at Forest Springs. Born in Hodgenville, Ky she was the former Mary Elizabeth Howell. She retired from the Board of Education after 30 years and worked at Prestonia, Audubon Elementary School and in the Central Office; and was a member of Audubon Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents Roy and Flora Andrews Howell; and a great grandson Brann Peterson; She is survived by her children Ricky Joe Parsons and Pamela Thorpe (Norbourne); Grandchildren Amy Peterson (Mitch) and Benjamin Marcum (Heather Fleming). Memorial Service will be 4 pm Saturday February 13, 2016 at Audubon Baptist Church 1046 Hess Lane. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Humane Society of Louisville or Donors Favorite Charity.
