Lawrence – Lillian (Gosselin) Saindon, 85 of Lawrence, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Edgar Saindon.
Born in Lawrence on September 23, 1930, Lillian was the daughter of Alfred and Helena Gosselin. She attended Lawrence schools and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1948. She worked as a seamstress for the Ralph Lauren Corporation for over 10 years until her retirement. Lillian was a communicant at the former Sacred Heart Church in Lawrence and loved cooking and spending time with her family.
Lillian will be deeply missed by her 4 sons, Edgar Saindon and his wife, Pamela of Methuen, Richard Saindon and his wife, Susan of Deerfield, NH, Michael Saindon of Lawrence, and David Saindon and his wife, Susan of North Andover; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; her sister, Yvette Gosselin of Lawrence; her brother, Richard Gosselin and his wife, Theresa of Alton Bay, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Lillian’s life by gathering for calling hours on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 4-8 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 11:30 AM at St. Michael’s Church, 196 Main Street, N. Andover. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Andover.
