Obituary

David John Dimlich (Arms),70, of Falls Church, VA, formerly of Andover, MA, passed away on Sunday, Feb 7th 2016, at his home. David was born in Lawrence, MA and educated at Phillips Academy in Andover, MA. He was a graduate of M.I.T. in electrical engineering, a proud member of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. David was the President of Transdyn Controls, Inc. helping many communities with control systems. He helped engineer the startup of WPAA at Phillips Academy leading to the 30 watt tower donated by NBC, was a student of Professor Bose at M.I.T. , worked for the American Legion, but his favorite job was being Captain at the helm of his sailboat “The Persistence”. Predeceased are his parents Benjamin F. Dimlich and Mildred E. (Schruender) Dimlich. David is survived by his daughter Deborah J. Kiger and her husband Bryan M. Kiger of Lawrenceville, GA and his son David G. Dimlich and wife Sara E. Dimlich, of The Villages, FL. His sisters Judith M. Dimlich of Reading, MA, Susan D. Bachrach and her husband Peter of Washington, DC and Murphy D. Hearl of Westwood, MA , his nieces Suzanne H. Canale, of Westwood, MA Annie Bachrach of New Orleans, LA and his nephew Benjamin Bachrach of Brooklyn, NY and his beloved grandson Wyatt G. Kiger of Lawrenceville, GA.

His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Feb 20th, 2016, at 11AM in the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. 122 Amesbury St, Lawrence, MA.
