Robert J. “Whisper” Wisk, age 77, passed away on Feb 6, 2016. He was born on May 9, 1938 in Springfield to the late Joseph and Claire (Lebell) Wisk. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Chicopee and worked for many years as a carpenter before he retired. He leaves his longtime companion Donna McQueen of Chicopee, 1 son Craig O’Connor of Springfield, 3 daughters Mary Beth Pepin of CA, Shelly Pepin of Chicopee and Christine Humel and her husband Steven of Chicopee, 2 sisters Christine Tyburski and her husband William of Springfield and Patricia Cashin and her husband William of Chicopee. He was predeceased by one son Joseph Pepin and 1 brother Donald Wisk. A Graveside Service will be held on Fri Feb. 12, 2016 at St Patrick Cemetery in Chicopee at 11 AM. Calling Hours will be held on Wed Feb. 10, 2016 from 6 to 8 PM at the Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee.
