Jane Turner of Natick, age 87, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Oak Knoll Healthcare Center in Framingham. She was the wife of the late William Turner.
Born in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of the late Donald and Marion (Smith) Dowe, Jane settled in Boston while attending Boston University as she pursued a Master’s Degree in Journalism. It was during this time that Jane met William, who was working in Boston at the time. A few years later the couple exchanged vows, and together they began their family while settling in Wellesley.
Jane enjoyed making a loving home for her family and always remained very strong in her faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
After returning from spending a few years in Norfolk, VA to care for Jane’s ailing parents, Jane and William chose to make their home in Natick.
Mrs. Turner is survived by her three children, James Turner of Natick, Susan Cormier and her husband Michael of Waltham, and Diane Krueger and her husband Robert of King George, VA. She is also survived by her grandchildren whom she loved so much, Monique Cormier and Katarina Krueger.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service in the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street, at Natick Common on Saturday, February 13 at 11:30 A.M. Interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery, South Natick.
Visiting hours are Friday from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
