Manchester– Richard R. Olivier, 79, died February 5, 2016 at Ridgewood Center following a period of declining health.
He was born in Manchester on October 6, 1936 the son of Romeo and Ruby Olivier.
He served his country in the U. S. Air Force.
Prior to his retirement he was a truck driver for Consolidated Freightways.
He held membership in the Teamsters Union Local 633.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Ethel (Austris) Olivier in 1994, his second wife Doris (Benard) Belanger Olivier in 2014, and two sons, Michael R. Olivier in 2010, and Joseph R. Olivier in 2015.
Family members include four children, Raymond Olivier of Pembroke, Orval “Dan” Olivier of Northwood, Richelle Bernadini of Florida, Marc Brouillard of Tennessee, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, two brothers, Jean Olivier of Raymond, Andre R. Olivier of Weare, and numerous extended family.
Calling hours will be on Monday morning from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A service of committal will follow at 11:30 AM in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
