Manchester– Robert R. Boisvert, 87, died February 5, 2016 at Courville at Manchester following a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on December 15, 1928 the son of William and Lillian (Cayer) Boisvert.
He served his country in the U. S. Army Reserves.
Prior to his retirement he had worked in the Waumbec and Chicopee Mills as well as in the maintenance department at Macy’s.
He enjoyed his 15 plus years as a West Little League umpire.
Family members include his loving wife, Pauline (Bernier) Boisvert of Manchester, one brother, Fernand Boisvert of Manchester, two sisters, Georgette Blanchette of Auburn, Pierette McConnell of Ashtabula, OH., and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A calling hour will be on Wednesday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. followed by a service of committal at 11 AM in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
