Ritchie, George Edward SR, 82, of Louisville passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016 at his home.
George was a member of St Lawrence Catholic Church, Knights of St John Commandery #103, St X Booster, Teamster Local #89, Dixie American Legion Post #220, USSSA Softball & coached Male High School Softball. He was a U.S. Army veteran of Korea & retired from Rainbo Baking Co.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Phyllis A. (Scheler) Ritchie; three children, Denise Ritchie, George Ritchie JR. & Carroll Ritchie (Tammy); three grandchildren, Brooke, Brandon & Shelby; great grandson, Bryson.
A funeral mass will be held 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at St Lawrence Catholic Church 1925 Lewiston Drive with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2:00 – 8:00 PM Monday at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy.
