Fall River – Doris H. Kay, 91, of Little Compton, RI died Friday, June 17, 2005 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Fall River, daughter of the late David D. and Mary E. (Hambly) Kay, and had resided in Little Compton since 1971. A graduate of Wilfreds Academy, Boston she was a hairdresser for The Glad Shop in Fall River until her retirement. She was a member of the Little Compton Congregational Church, Little Compton. She was a former member of the United Methodist Church, Fall River and a former member of the Ladies Aide of Little Compton Congregational Church.
She is survived by a sister: Edith E. Durfee of Little Compton; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Rd., Westport at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service from 10 – 11 A.M.
Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Tiverton, RI.
