Dorothy H. (Hutto) Rondeau age 94 of Brockton died Sunday January 31, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Albert Rondeau for 70 years. Dorothy was born and raised in Swansea, SC a daughter of the late Levincent and Lubelle (Hammond) Hutto and came to Brockton as a war bride in 1948.
Dorothy’s career was spent as a keypunch operator and she had worked at Knapp Shoe, Eaton Shoe and Mammoth Mart. She was an avid gardener, loved to play Bingo and had taught line dancing at Massasoit Community College for many years. She also traveled extensively with her husband.
Dorothy was the mother of Annette Stanek and her husband Peter of Brockton and sister of Barbara Poole of South Carolina and the late Lottie McLain, Marjorie Pittman and Elton Hutto.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte.123) Brockton on Saturday 11am-12 followed by a Funeral Service at 12. Burial in the Mass National Cemetery in Bourne.
