PORTLAND- Melodie A. Williams, age 64, passed away on Jan. 31, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Portland.
She was born in Portland on June 16, 1951, a daughter of the late Alvin and Diana (Poirier) Servin.
She graduated from Portland High School in 1969 and immediately went on to work at New England Tel & Tel for 25 + years until she retired.
Melodie will always be remembered for her humor, independence, and intelligence and her love of socializing with everyone.
She also enjoyed R&B and Soul music, fishing, crafts, and cross stitching – which was done to perfection.
She was a member of the Eagles in Portland.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by a sister- Elaine Drake.
Melodie is survived by her sisters- Darleen Turgeon and her husband Normand of Limington and Yvette Metcalf and her husband Frank of SC; a brother- Alan Servin and his wife Sylvia of NC; cousin- Brian Servin of MA; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
