DUDLEY – Theresa B. “Terri” (Placzek) Gauthier, 85, died Thursday, January 28, 2016 in Southbridge Rehab & Nursing Center after a period of declining health.
She leaves her husband of 55 years, Raymond N. Gauthier; a son, Michael Gauthier of Dudley; a sister, Rita Kolak of Webster; nieces and nephews.
She was born in Webster, a daughter of Albert and Balbina (Augustyn) Placzek and graduated from Bartlett High School in 1948.
Mrs. Gauthier was an office clerk at Webster Shoe and then at A.M. Kouri Company, both in Webster, before she retired.
She was a member of Saint Andrew Bobola Church.
The funeral will be held Monday, February 1, at 10:00 AM in Saint Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main Street (please meet at the church). Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Webster. There are no calling hours. Donations in her name may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster.
