Joseph Travers III, 68, of Westport died Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at home. He was husband of the late Brenda (Roach) Travers. Born in Fall River, son of the late Joseph and Edith L. (Desjardins) Travers, he was a lifelong resident of Westport. Prior to retirement, he was a welder for Lin's Propane in Rehoboth and also he also worked at Brodeur Machine in New Bedford and Mid-City Scrap in Westport.
He is survived by his sister: Mary L. (Travers) Bowman of Westport.
Graveside service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, February 5, 2016 at Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport at 1 P.M.
